Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction, also known as spiritual guidance and spiritual companioning, is a time-honored practice of deep listening found in many cultures.
The practice seeks to illuminate one’s relationship with the Sacred, whether you name it Your Higher Power, Creator, God, the Divine or something else; distinguishing it from counseling, therapy or life coaching.
In a spiritual direction session, typically one hour in length, the sacred space and time is jointly defined by the Directee and the Spiritual Director.
