Fall Conference

Using the Enneagram in Spiritual Direction

We are excited to announce the MichianaSDN Fall 2026 program, “Using the Enneagram in Spiritual Direction”.

We invite all spiritual directors and those in training to become spiritual directors to join us on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Lindenwood Retreat Center, Plymouth, Indiana from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (EST).

Led by Dr. Lori Tate, participants will explore how the Enneagram can become a valuable companion to the practice of spiritual direction. Whether you are new to the Enneagram or already familiar with it, you'll gain practical insights into how this tool can deepen self-awareness, enrich conversations with directees, and support spiritual transformation.

Drawing on years of experience integrating the Enneagram with spiritual direction, Lori will offer both a solid foundation and practical applications for directors. The presentation will include teaching, reflection, and opportunities for discussion as participants discover ways the Enneagram can enhance both their ministry and their own spiritual journey.

Dr. Lori Tate is a spiritual director, teacher, and founding faculty member of the School of Spiritual Direction–Crossroads Soul Resources, where she helps integrate the Enneagram with the practice of spiritual direction. Her work is grounded in training with Dr. Jerome Wagner's The Enneagram Spectrum and Rev. Clare Loughrige's Enneagram Harmony Triad.

Lori lives in Jackson, Michigan, where she operates her spiritual direction practice, Soul Dig, serving people both locally and internationally. An avid gardener, she has transformed a stone labyrinth into a 35-foot plant labyrinth, reflecting her belief that tending the earth can be a meaningful spiritual practice.

We look forward to seeing you!
