I received my training in Ignatian Spirituality from the Archdiocesan Spirituality Center, New Orleans, over 20 years ago. I have practiced spiritual direction since then and have participated in peer supervision. I have received spiritual direction for over 35 years. An image of spiritual direction for me is the road to Emmaus – we walk together, share our ups and downs, listen to one another with our focus on the Holy Spirit, the communion of our lives, the breaking open of our lives with the love of Jesus.

I am Roman Catholic and practice Zen meditation. I believe 12-step programs are a ‘spirituality of honesty’. Creative expression is an entrée to the Divine.
