I completed my training to be a spiritual director in 2016 at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. I have cross-cultural experience, having lived in Guatemala for approximately 16 years. I specialize in working with survivors of child abuse, but I work with others who do not have that experience as well. I currently work in English, Kekchi and Spanish.

My view of God has developed significantly over the years. I believe that it is important to explore our view of God as we grow in our spiritual life. I welcome people who question traditional understandings of God and I am not afraid of hard questions of faith (though, of course, I do not have the answers to those questions). I have a passion for relating to people who have been wounded in life, in one way or another. I see myself as a wounded healer and God as the ultimate Healer.
